2. Client Base: Since internet business can be easily setup, a main reason to acquire an internet business for sale is its client base. Make sure the client base is substantial and not something you can build up in a year on your own. Do a cost analysis of how much the current client base brings in a year against how much you will spend in a year on online business setup and marketing to get these on your own.

3. Online marketing: For an internet business for sale to have acquired some client base, some online marketing have been done. Assess the marketing done for the internet business. Is it substantial? Or would you need to spend more on optimization once you have acquired the business? Assess if this is worthwhile.
